the next evolution of vision yachts

INTRODUCING THE VISION 484

A NEW 48FT MODEL SET TO LAUNCH IN 2026

The Vision 484 represents the next evolutionary step in the Vision Yachts lineup. It is not an extension or stretched version of the Vision 444, it is a completely new design from the keel up. With a brandnew hull form, deck layout, and interior arrangement, the 484 builds on the award-winning DNA of the Vision 444, whilst offering increased size, comfort, headroom, and innovative systems integration.

A NEW 48FT MODEL SET TO LAUNCH IN 2026

Length overall:

48.4 ft or 14.75 m

Beam:

8.0 m or 26.25 ft vs. 7.6 m or 24.93 ft on the Vision 444

Draft:

Increased from 700 mm (on the 444) to 1,000 mm - reducing slamming & improving offshore comfort.

Bridge deck clearance:

Optimized for cruising balance of performance and shallow anchorage access (final spec TBC)

Headroom:

2.1 m throughout hulls, cabins, and saloon. Up to 2.2 m in key areas, designed for sailors 6’6”–6’8” tall.

IMPACT OF SIZE INCREASE:

The step up from 44 ft to 48 ft is significant. It results in more spacious cabins, enlarged saloon and galley areas, additional storage, and broader workspaces – without losing the agile handling and performance Vision yachts are known for.

INTERIOR DESIGN & FEATURES

LAYOUTS

Three-cabin version: Retains the familiar owner’s-suite style of the Vision 444 with expansive starboard master cabin and two guest cabins port-side.
Four-cabin version: Meeting strong market demand, particularly for charter and larger families. Provides excellent accommodation flexibility while retaining privacy.

INTERIOR ENHANCEMENTS

Nav Station / Inside Helm / Office Space – Expanded by approximately 1 ft in width. Designed as a multi-functional watch station and office, recognising the modern reality of remote working afloat.

Fully integrated with autopilot controls, navigation equipment, and display screens. Positioned for excellent visibility and comfort during long passages or poor weather.

CABIN COMFORT & STORAGE

Port forward cabin includes a walk-in wardrobe, a rare feature in this size range. Increased cupboard and cabinet storage throughout.

Redesigned midship heads on port aft cabin now a dedicated dry head (separating shower from toilet area), upgrading from the Vision 444’s wet head concept.

SALOON & GALLEY

Slightly larger footprint with improved ergonomics.

Increased headroom (2.1–2.2 m) makes the interior feel significantly more spacious. Optimized galley workspace for liveaboard comfort.

POWER SYSTEMS

48 VOLT POWER PLATFORM

One of the most significant upgrades from the Vision 444: Full 48V DC system replaces the 24V platform.

  • Powers air conditioning, watermakers, pumps, and electric winches more efficiently.
  • Reduces conversion losses, improves reliability, and future-proofs the yacht’s energy systems

SOLAR ENERGY

  • Cutting-edge 520 W walk-on solar panels.
  • 11-panel array with approx. 5 kW output.
  • 7 X 520W walk-on flexible panels integrated into the deck.
  • 4 X 475 rigid glass panels in fixed positions.

Exceptional solar yield ensures energy independence for long-term cruising.

ENGINES & HYBRID OPTION

Standard: Twin NANNI 50 hp diesel engines.
Optional: Integral e-Drive hybrid propulsion system.

E-DRIVE BENEFITS:

  • Silent motoring for 1–1.5 hrs.
  • System functions as a generator, not merely regen.
  • Enables cross-Atlantic efficiency mode:
  • Run one engine as diesel (e.g., starboard).
  • Run other engine electric (e.g., port) using generated + solar power.
  • Fuel burn equivalent to one engine, but with two-engine propulsion.
  • Boosts average passage speeds — every knot gained is critical on long bluewater passages.

DECKS & RIGGING

Deck Features:

  • Flat, uncluttered decks for safe movement.
  • Smooth transition from side decks to trampoline, enhancing flow and safety forward.
  • Flush hatches and smart placement of winches and lines to keep decks clean.

SAIL PLAN & RIG

Mainsail:
Standard roach main, maintaining Vision’s efficient sail plan.

Headsails:
Self-tacking jib for effortless short-handed sailing.
Overlapping genoa (120%) for added power off the wind.

Downwind/Performance Sails:
Code sail attachment point.
Asymmetric spinnaker tack point on longeron/bowsprit.
Options for parasailor system.

Development of specialized sails:
Code 55 reaching sail
Maxi screecher / maxi code sail (larger than a Code 65, designed for power reaching).

Who the Vision 484 is Built For?

  • Larger families & groups requiring more cabins and living space.
  • Tall sailors appreciating 2.1–2.2 m headroom.
  • Serious bluewater cruisers who demand efficiency, redundancy, and comfort offshore.
  • Buyers upgrading from the Vision 444 who want a bigger platform but the same Vision DNA.
  • Charter operators seeking a four-cabin version with luxury comfort

Vision Philosophy Carried Forward

Every refinement on the Vision 484 stems from experience with the Vision 444 and direct feedback from owners. The result is a yacht that:

  • Feels significantly larger, more luxurious, and more livable.
  • Offers cutting-edge energy systems for sustainable, independent cruising.
  • Delivers performance and handling ease expected of a Vision yacht.
